Has anyone been to the Phuket Club lately? Hoping to go beginning of March and reviews I have read are mixed but most people seem disappointed by their stay at this resort. Wondering if a single person would have fun and if the resort is worth the high price?! Are renovations finished?

Any information appreciated!

The positioning of Phuket is really for couples, so I'm not sure if this resort is often visited for singles... What is the reason why you chose Phuket?

All depends of the particular week and the GMs present then. You can as well have a bad week in a so-called party/single village, if you don't meet the people you'd like or this just on your last evening.

You don't need to become friend with everybody and there will always be some nice folks (singles or couples) you'd like to spend time with. Next to that, the GOs can help you to find friends.

Kiki is right,as usual! One week can be vastly different from the next. As we all know, there are very few adult only clubs left. I have been there twice as a single, but it was some time ago. BTW, it's a long way from the US. There are so few Americans there that I was known as "the American". However, I was made to feel very welcome.

I love the CM Asian clubs for the food, ambiance, culture, beauty, excursions, etc. Phuket is the most international club of all the clubs. The last time I was there, there were more than 51 countries represented.

I would agree that it has become much, much more expensive in the last 5 years. That being said, this is one of my favorite clubs. I loved it there, and I loved Thailand as well. Be warned that the rainy season starts in April, but March should be fine.

If you can afford it, go. You will have a good time.
