I understand that the asian CMs are now offering this all day bar and snacking (AI) bracelet.

Just curious if drinks are limited to the local moonshines, beers and standard drinks or are premium drinks included (eg. Chivas, JW Black, Moet )?

Moonshine, sunlight, good times, dun blame it on the boogie !*hic*

Premium drinks are not included in the AI! You'll be charged in case you order those. Better to bring your bottle of favourite whiskey, etc. with you, if you can't live without.

In fact, it's clearly stated in the Trident that high end alcohols are payable.

However, if you should go to a 4**** village, the choice they offer is pretty good and a lot better than in the freestyle village.

Since you spoke of Asian villages, Ria Bintan is not participating in the All Day, All-Included Bar & Snacking policy. I wonder why? Anyone out there with an explanation?

Spook,
Upon arrival, you will be showed to your bungalow by a GO. She/he will tell you what time and where will be the information to present you the team, etc. In your room, you should find also some info (hours, sports, restaurant hours, etc.). If not, get it at the reception.

Do some reading here before you leave and you will be well prepared for your first CM holiday.

Basically, AI includes everything, but high-end spirits (like French champage, cognac, etc.). There should be a very long thread in the information forum.

Enjoy your holiday.

Finally, a pronouncement on the CM website:

** Bar and Snacking includes : Drinks available at the Village’s Bars - bottled water, soft-drinks and fruit juices served by the glass, freshly-squeezed fruit juices, local and international brands of spirits, wines served by the glass, cocktails, local specialities (excludes : Premium spirits, champagnes, bottled wines, Mini Bar, F&B on sale at Boutique)

So what snacks do we get ? ; o

It sounds like it varies from CM to CM. In Punta Cana, you get pre lunch croissants, fruit and yogurt. It closes for a few hours during lunch. After lunch snacks are salads, hot dogs, hamburgers, french fries, pizza, chips and cheese and a few sandwiches. Not as elaborate as some other CM selections.

Well.. I just came back from a week that was full of incredible cocktails and shots.. all night long, and all inclusive at Bali.

I know there was a page of "elite" cocktails which weren't included, but seriously - we had some AMAZING cocktails and shots without paying a cent extra!!! Sure it used to be fun to sneak out the wine at mealtimes, but.. this was wonderful and so yummy! Cocktail after cocktail!

The more * a village has, the better is the quality of the alcohols and consequently the drinks and cocktails. Same with the snacks that may however slightly vary depending the village.
Next to the usual ones (sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, French fries, etc.), they do have the most delicious butter sablés for tea time in La Pointe aux Canonniers.... Can't wait to be back. Love them just too much.
Also, an outstanding daily different choice of aperitif snacks (cold and hot) before dinner.

Apparently, the drinks you get at some freestyle villages are pretty watery. Oh well, you get what you pay for...

Just for info:

Cherating charges about US$18 per day for the AI package; minimum of 2 days.

Snacks now include samosas, nuggets, spring rolls, money packets, ice cream, choc bars, gummies.

Wonder if the same is charged at other asian villages
