i always always always go on vacation to the beach and i was thinking of going on a ski wacation, of course with club med, has Ne one been to ski club med, and has ne advice or recomendation! thanks
Hi there, I can't tell about Club Med ski resorts in the USA, but this year I spent my 1st Club Med holidays at Cervinia (Italy) and I had the best time ever. I've been several times to Austria and Switzerland on a ski holiday, but nothing comparable to the CM. Had fantastic snow, great food and entertainment and all the staff was wonderful. Can only recomend it!!!!
wow thanks alot! was the skiing nice? and is it the same consept as like sun club med's...GO"s ?shows?.... what do you do when your not skiing?? is their ne night life?? thanks
The skiing in Italy is absolutely fantastic...wide, enless slopes and clear blue sky!! As I said, this was my 1st CM experience so I can't tell you if it's the same in the summer resorts, but from what I've heard it seems quite similar. The only thing is that because you leave to the slopes very early no one really parties that long.....The club I went to is a family club so a lot of the shows are for kids, although afterwards everyone stays at the bar and dances...
I haven't been to Crested Butte but I did work a season at Copper Mountain. The concept is the same as a Sun Village. A great thing is the lessons! You ride each day with the same people. By the end of the week you've shared some real fun times! Copper was an adult village when I was there but, even then the night-life is not what you would find at Turquoise. I think most people are pretty tired after riding the mountain all day! You can always find someone who is up for a party (after all it is Club Med). My sister spent her first Club Med there and turned her week into ten days! I would advise you to allow a little time to adjust to the altitude. Drink lots of fluids and try to keep away from the alcohol for the first night/day. It is so dry that you can become dehydrated in no time. Altitude sickness is no fun at all. I say go!
