In Club Med, each stay is an opportunity to leave behind your every day life and open yourself to new experiences. 

The Discovery Center offers a variety of excursions to discover the country.
The program of the excursions and the prices are subject to change.

The Club Med has drawn up a Responsible Tourismcharter in all it's destinations, to guarantee responsible practice towards the environment, both natural and cultural, and ethical participation towards local economic development.

After sailing on the lagoon on the south-east coast, discover the Ile de la Passe and the Ile au Phare.
Dive in the blue waters at Trou Mouton, with its intriguing underwater life and fabulous variety of fish, a foretaste of the wonderful Blue Bay Marine Park, one of the finest marine parks in the world. After diving, you'll be treated to a lunch of grilled crayfish, chicken, fish and salads.
A delightful day combining swimming and sightseeing with time to laze in the sun.
By speed boat

Blue Bay Grand Luxe (1D)

Go off on a grand luxury day on board a speed boat where you will be able to dive in the marine park of Blue Bay. You will stop on the Lighthouse Island where you can snorkel (equipment available). You will be enchanted with the beauty of the location 'Eau Bleue". Then if the tide permits, you will go to the "Ile aux Flamands" an amazing sand bank.Lunch will be served on the "Ile aux Cerfs" where you can either stroll around or swim. Then enjoy a dive in the blue waters of the "Trou Moutou". Your day will finish off with a stop around the "ile aux Aigrettes" to watch the sunset behind the mountains.

Deep Sea Fishing

Mauritius is a great destination for deep sea fishing. You'll find species such as the blue or black spearfish, shark, basking shark, barracuda, bécune (type of shark) and bonito. The west coast currents bring the fish up, making the waters around the island ideal for fishing. Expedition that combines sport with luck and adventure, in comfortable boats equipped to comply with IGFA standards.

Deer Island (1 day)

Sail up the river to admire the Grande Riviere waterfalls, then sail on to the "Ile des Cerfs". Snorkeling in the "Eau Bleue" will enable you to discover the paradise like colors of the lagoon. Lunch on board, skewers of seafood, chicken and fish, grilled lobster, taste sea urchins, all accompanied by the sound of a guitar and local music. You will then take a canoe to refresh yourself in the fresh waterfalls of Trou. Spare time on the Ile aux Cerfs, swimming or walk.

Flat Island - The Governor's House (1D)

From Club Med La Pointe aux Cannoniers, you'll be taken on a sumptous catamaran out to the "Ile Plate" (The Governor's House), a secluded island a few nautical miles north of Mauritius. The island is a beautifully tranquil site where you'll spend an incredible moment, suspended in time. Lunch at a small, intimist and exclusive gastronomic restaurant within an ancient historic building that is part of national heritage. The restaurant is just 100 metres from a fabulous beach, in the middle of totally unspoilt nature. A fabulously relaxing day dedicated to total relaxation and swimming in a turquoise blue lagoon full of exotic fish.

Discover the south coast, swim, snorkel; lunch on board with lobster...You might get a glimpse of dolphins in the Tamarin Bay... Unforgettable

The perfect excursion to Discover Maut=ritius and its magic: start off with the Eureka Colonial House, visit the miniture boat fabric. Admire the view of the "Trou aux cerfs" old volcano of offer 950 feet diameter and the caves of the black river.Appriciate the explinations whislt visiting the famous Anthurius Bathfield plantation. After lunch in an idyllic setting in Varangue sur Morne, admire the famous location of Chamarel with its waterfalls and land of seven colors.

To satisfy your curiosity, discover at your own pace, the most amazing and hidden locations : private boat rental, chauffeured car, helicopter ride, sunset cruise.
Depending on the season, you can also see horse racing or a visit to the " Sucrerie De Medine" and its disterilie.

Port Louis by bus (1/2 day)

Visit the "Pamplemousse Botanical Gardens" with its century-old trees and rare species before heading back to the capital of Mauritius, Port Louis and spend some free time there wandering the streets

Port Louis by boat (1/2 day)

An enjoyable sail along the coast.Discover the covered market at Port Louis and the "Caudan" the waterfront shopping mall. Take time to enjoy and shop.

Quad safari in the protected "Casela" animal reserve

Every day subject to availability (double or simple quads)
Explore the Natural Park of Yemen (protected park), zigzag between deer, zebras and austriches.
Admire the breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean and the sugar cane fields. You must respect the rules and regulations of the animal park. Possibility of doing this by quad or segway.
This excursion is not recommended to people having back problems or are pregnant.

Walk along the sea floor amongst multicolored fish, a scaphander enabling you to breath normally.
