Excursions

The Discovery Center offers a variety of excursions to discover the country.

The program of the excursions and the prices are given for information only. Excursions have to be paid on the premises in the local currency. 

The Club Med has drawn up a Responsible Tourismcharter for all the destinations it serves, to guarantee responsible practice towards the environment, both natural and cultural, and ethical participation towards local economic development.

Berber country (1 day)

Excursion recommended to families by our Discovery Centre Day of wonder in a 4X4 off the beaten track. Discover the scenery of the High Atlas on off-road trails to the Hotel Cascades in Imouzzer with a splendid view of the mountains and the cool valley of Ida or Tanane.
4x4 not suitable for people with back problems.

Buggy outing (1/2 day)

Ride the sand tracks through the argan forest in the desert around Agadir.

Colors of the South by 4 by 4(1day)

Banana groves, oasis, sand dunes in the "Little Sahara" are a perfect illustration of the wealth and variety of landscapes of Souss Massa. Meet the Berber people and their culture. Stop at Tiznit, the capital of silver jewellery.

Dromadaire outing (personalized)

A great opportunity for parents and children to discover an intriguing method of transport: an hour's ride on a camel through a forest of eucalyptus trees.

Discover the two most beautiful cities in Morocco: Essaouira, with its ramparts, built by the French architect, Vauban, its fishing port and Sqala; and the imperial city of Marrakech, with its monuments, gardens and souks. Djemaa el-Fna square by night is an unforgettable experience. Night in a ryad in the heart of the Medina.

Essaouira: the Alizea city (1 day)

Excursion recommended by our Discovery Center. Formerly known as Mogador, one of the most captivating cities on the Atlantic coast. A white town with blue shutters, renowned for its artists and craftsmen, for its mosaics and its souks.

Marrakesh the ocre city (1 day)

Excursion recommended by our Discovery Center. An imperial city unlike any other in the world. Its Medina, its monuments: the El Badii (or Bahia) Palace, the Saddian Tombs, Medersa Ben Youssef, its souks and its famous Djemâa El Fna square, a UNESCO-listed site. 

Mountain bike outings (1/2D)

If you enjoy mountain biking, discover Agadir and its surroundings.Three different circuits are available pending on your desires and your physical abilities. This activity is available daily.

Quad (1/2 day)

A fabulous experience not to be missed! Ride through the forest amid the heady fragrance of arganier and eucalpytus trees.
A limited number of quads available.

Tafraout (1 day)

Discover the landscape of the anti-Atlas, Ammeln Valley or the Valley of Reflection, the exceptional site of Tafraout, fortified villages clinging to the mountainside. 
On the way back, stop in Tiznit, the silver jewelery capital.
