Club Med Phuket

I am going to Phuket for a work conference so I tacked a few extra days onto the end of the trip to be able to stay at CM! This will be my first CM not in the North America/Caribbean region! Super excited, wish I could stay longer, but will have to get back to work!

I am going by myself, so I opted for the Shared room option, (only there for 2 nights, who cares about where you sleep anyways!), but I am curious if anyone has any experience with that? I guess it is not gender specific, I could be sharing with a girl or a guy? I don't really mind, just more interested to know how this is going to work out! :0)

I've been to the club twice, once I had a roommate and once when I was a single. The sleeping areas are private, so you don't share that. Since this isn't high season, you may not even get a roommate, but I'm sure it will be of the same gender. You will find that it is a very beautiful club and the food is dramatically better than that in the American zone. Expect a little bit of rain.

thanks for the info John! It is greatly appreciated! I primarily go to Club Med by myself, and love it, but the price difference on the 2 days made it worth the risk to share! I was envisioning 3 twin size beds and a bathroom and it is a lot more reassuring to think that they would pair me with another woman! Can't wait! I can handle a little rain! :0)
