1. Most likely not.
4. Someone who has been to Cherating may be able to answer. However, if you have to work, you won't be able to attend. Activties at the villages usually start at 9 AM earliest, except for the early morning walk, if there is any.
5. I have a GO friend in Mauritius (La Pointe aux Canonniers) and he keeps his bicyle on the small balcony of his room. I believe, you should be able to keep one as well.

hey fish, yes there's an early morning yoga class..if i'm not wrong it starts at an ungodly hour of 8 or 8.30am. you can bring your bike, but be careful it doesn't get stolen and it might take a while to cycle to the nearest local village. its helpful for getting around the village quickly though because it's quite huge.

Hi

As far as I can remember:

1. there's wifi at the Internet zone at the village as well as PCs with some form of broadband there, not sure if it's available in the rooms.
2. GO rooms are single rooms but 2 rooms share a common bathroom between the rooms. But you have separate entrances to each of your rooms.
3. Think the bar opens at 9. But there are early morning departures.
4. Yes, there is, but I can't remember what time. Think it's 8.30 a.m.
5. Yes, you can keep a bike, but yes, as Sav says, the local village is a distance away. Most GOs call a cab, and there are "regular" cab drivers who take good care of GOs.

Have fun in Cherating.

Hi fish,

Just so you know, you probably won't be able to ride your bike inside the village. Usually the CDV doesn't want GOs to ride their bikes through a village.

I'm sure you'll be able to attend the yoga classes... Usually in services like the bar, the schedule rotates, so there will be days that you won't start working early in the morning.

Last but not least, a good friend of mine from Kani last summer is working at the bar in Cherating now. Her name is Elisa, and she's from Seoul. Tell her Morgan says hi! (And you'll like her, she's really nice :-)

Oh, and in most villages, the bar GOs working the morning shift start at 8 AM to have the bar open at 9 AM :-)

Have fun!
