I'm a new GO.
Do I have to stay in one village for an entire year or can I travel between villages? What is supplied in the GO rooms? Any other advice please?

Then, also depends what nationality you are. If you're Malaysian, you may have to stay a while, before they move you.

Basically, you'll stay for 6 months. Then, you can ask to change, unless you prefer to stay another half year (provided they want to keep you).
If the CDV you work with moves on, he/she will possibly ask you to move with him and that's a chance to take, if the new destination sounds tempting to you.

Regarding what's supplied in the GO rooms, I believe, Maukitten did answer that question pretty well in the other thread you opened.
