Club Med Cherating Beach

I have posted my photos from Cherating at the following address:

The site is pretty simple. There is no registration, no spam, no ads. There are three folders. Click on a folder to open it. You hit the slideshow button and you can see the presentation as a slideshow. You can also just click on an individual photo and it is featured on the right. Click it again and it enlarges. For you techies, when you put your cursor over the featured photo there is a tab that says photo info where can see the EXIF data.

Remember, I am not a professional photographer, but I try my best. The circus shots where under terrible lighting conditions (also it was plenty hot in the balcony).

I hope that you enjoy them. If you have a problem with the site, please let me know since this is the first time that I have used it. Thanks.

Thanks for the photos. Makes me miss Cherating!! I am glad to see Maria is still there. I hope I can see her again this year. did you have a chance to meet her? she works in boutique and often does the circus show :)

Yes, I did meet her and saw her nearly every day. I always found the boutique team to be friendly and helpful. As I have mentioned previously, that was a truly wonderful GO team at Cherating, and very accepting of all GM's. I can see why you miss Cherating.

Thanks for the compliments. I really do appreciate them. I am not a professional photographer by any stretch of the imagination. I was once talking to Victor Skrebneski, who discovered Cindy Crawford among other accomplishments, and asked him, How do you take great pictures? Victor is a very modest and unassuming man. After some thought, he looked at me and said, All it takes is good light and patience. Not quite true, Victor, but you make a good point.

PS: This was only my second serious attempt at digital photography. I bought my Canon 30D (my first and only digital camera) a little less than a year ago.

Thanks so much for the link to your beautiful photos of Cherating and Malaysia. They are the best I have seen of the club. Our daughter is now working there and, as she is far away, it helps to know what her life is like through photos. I'm now convinced that I want to make the 27-30 hr trek!
