Anyone been there in the last couple of months??? Do you have a trip report to share??

i just got back from cherating.
The G.Os were lovely as usual, food was great and it was just the best!

I was wondeirng if you could tell me all the GO names that you remember? I might be going in September(not sure yet)....and I wanted to know if there was anyone I know there. THANKS!!! Just list as many as you can remember.

Is she by any chance Malaysian, about 5" 4 or 5 inches? Someone told me she had left. Maybe it's a different Joanna. Nevermind, thanks anyway :-)

Smitten: are you maybe referring to a Joanna Lee, Chinese Malaysian girl? She has short black hair, worked in CM Bintan in 2002? Not sure if she worked in Cherating..I cannot remember. But if its her, she doesn't work in CM anymore. She works at some hotel in the maldives for the next yr or too. Havent heard much from her tho....:(

hey all i just been to cherating beach last week from 26th - 31st! and seriously, thats not enough for me!! :( dont wanna leave that place! it's awesome!
met the nice G.O.s - Dewa, Indra and Craig the lifeguards, T.J., Big Ben, Lionel, Yoko etc...
met some nice G.M.s too!!

Hi, I was there from 29th Aug to 1st Sept. The weather, food and GOs were great...I wish I could stay longer. I already missing CM cherating.

Acctazil, how was Craig? Had he been on anymore trips to Singapore? Also can you tell me if Tak from the circus was still there?

I found Joan in Ria Bintan. She got there about almost a week ago.

Yep..........sammyg..........He's still in his Highchair perving through his mirrored sunglasses and chatting up all the Blondes........

Appreciate any further field reports - what have they done to the old disco at the pantai ? And where's the new disco now ?

Do they offer all day bar and snacking ?

btw, there;s a Mika (GO tennis) in Phuket

the old disco no longer exists. It is now a fine dining restaurant at night. Not too sure about the all day bar and snacking. There isn't really a disco now, but I can say that things get pretty hot! sometimes at the main bar.

all day bar & snacking is offered if you buy the AI bracelet. You can still use the ez-card thing to buy your snacks but it's not worth it if you're always at the bar ;)

I think it's just easier to get the bracelet... that way u needn't worry about anything u eat or drink. =p I guess it also depends how long u stay cos I think it's an extra Euro 100 or something like that.

I was in Cherating August 28-September 4. Then I was in Phuket SEptember 4-9. It was aamzing!! Cherating was great, but Phuket was very quiet. In Cherating I got to see my friends Jenn and Maria(Joan had just left :( )...and made lots of new ones: Coco, Laura, Chris, Adil, Yassine, Nikky(being trained by Maria), Joanna(different Joanna), Soraya...etc. Rick is there, as is Marina, Craig, Jamie, Emi, Santi, Han, Karim, Pascal(and Apple of course0, Gege, Mika, Mez..etc. I got to meet Rick's dad--looks exactly like him!I had so much fun!! I got the all inclusive bracelet--so I got to have many tequila sunrises lol. I also went shopping with my firend on her day off, spent alot of tmie by the pool, and doing the dancing...etc. It was so crowded when I was there!! I want to go back so much. Well maybe I'll just go back as a GO!
