Club Med Cherating Beach

What is the weather like in Cherating the 1st week of september??? I will be there september 4-14....i am hoping that its not too bad. I have been there in july/august only. So I dont know what its like the rest of the year. I am hoping that I will see the turtles, as I havent seen them the 3 times I've been there before. :( SO please if anyone can give me info, that would be helpful. thanks.

My friend from California was there in May and she sent me some pictures of the little turtles waddling down the beach to the sea. I'm not sure if you will see the turtles other than April-May.

weather will be cooler ..expect a little rain which is usual.

Monsoon season only starts in November.

I believe the turtle season is around june to august. And you;re more likely to see it North of Cherating in the next state (Trengganu)

Dont fret - there is a turtle conservation site just outside the main club med gate. You wont miss any.

Many years ago, the GOs pulled a famous prank. They summoned all the GMs in the disco to the beach to tell them that there was a turtle coming in. And true enough, in the darkness and a lot of turtle grunting and flapping, two GOs donning turtle costumes , snorkelling gear and flippers made their way to the shore ! *LOL*

I went to cherating in the beginning of october last year and the weather was fine...
there was a little rain at night (like past midnight) but it always cleared up by morning and the sun is out so you can do everything as normal. Have fun!
