Silfide, about the seaweed, that's true in some senses. There is a lot of seaweed in the sea near the scuba shack. But where the beach shack is, I don't think that's much of a prob.
But if you intend to snorkel and scuba, the seaweed shouldn't be a problem. The dive and snorkelling sites are away from the village (no seaweed).
