Club Med Cherating Beach

hey my friend and i are looking for a great club med to go to for one.. any suggestions???????? we are looking for the beautiful beaches and luxurious living. we also want to go when there are lotsa cute guys from all ova the world so, when would you suggest we go on this holiday, my school holidays are in jan/dec ; june jul; and sept. please sum help........

Club Md would definately b da best place..sandy beaches..loads of activities..u would never get BORED..loads of cute guys..U cn have lunch with them and thee guys are reali nice

HI Simone--I would suggest Club Med Phuket or Cherating, but it depends on the setting you want. If you want rural go to Cherating, if you want lively and exciting, go to Phuket. I also suggest Bali--I've heard its wonderful, but I havent had the chance to go there myself yet. I cant wait to go someday tho! Hope you have fun wherever you go.

Cherating is reali reali COOL!!I would recomend u to go there..

I agree with you Simpleplanfreak, Cherating is way cool. However if you can go for a trip in Jun/Jul, CM Kani's also a lovely place to go. Hot bods, great company, lovely view... and the list goes on...

i have already been to cherating.it was magnificent.it felt like heaven and thats why i wanna share this experience with my frineds on for my 16 bday next year. i will look up kani phuket in the club med book i have . one more quezzie....what kind of activities and sports do these two club meds have??????

Here's the URL of the CM portal. Just choose 'South Africa' as home location and you'll get the details for the village(s) you'd like to see pictures and have info. For a larger choice, you may want to click 'UK' as country of origin. It will be in English too, but with more choices than the US site.

Then click, where it says 'Club Med holidays online' and shop around.

Kani is very diving oriented, although all over regular CM activities are also included. Phuket is more generalised without one particular "specialty"...although apparently their spa service is great.

Thing in Kani is, it is a village but it is also just one island. Now, this can be good or bad. Having an island to oneself is of course a dream come true, but if you feel like getting out once in a while, Phuket may be better coz the village is near the town center.

But actually If u r in CM...U kinda won't go out to da city...The stuff in CM will definately keep u more than occupied..hehe

My recommendation for you would be to choose from "adults only" villages... Phuket, Maldives, etc... are GREAT destinations but they are ideal for couples. If you are planning to go alone or by friends to have lots of fun, sports and activities; then definately KEMER in june or september..

oops, sorry for the late response! website as in www.clubmed.com. maybe if you pick the US version, it's more comprehensive. at least that's what i use these days. i look at the hongkong one once in a while and the info there sometimes is not as detailed.

i've been to phuket twice, bali, cherating, bintan in asia. my fave, well, it's a tight tie between bali and phuket. would have said phuket flat out but the second time i went was no where as good as the first time, and i think it's a function of the GOs. i'm thinking of mayby kani in feb!

I think it all depends on da GO'S that's one makes a village more fun than the other or otherwise
