Club Med Cherating Beach

Hi,

I am booked for a week at Cherating CM ( June 11-18 ) and want to know if its geared towards singles or families. I
don't think it is school holidays then so what will the mix of guests be?
I am an early 30's Aussie guy and am booked in one of those shared rooms with 2 separate bedrooms so I won't be spending much time in my room. Any comments appreciated.

Oh-uh... Adam, it is the Singapore school hols, and Cherating is the 2nd nearest CM to Singapore, so expect lots of noisy S'porean Chinese families with spoilt, bratty kids.
But, u'll do just fine alone as the GOs there are terrific!
Hang out with them and u'll definitely have a blast!
If u like the Circus, u can hang out with Ric, Paul & Tim (Aussies too) and Momoko - half Korean half Japanese GO there. I don't think u'r keen on yoga, but the yoga instructor Jing from Korea/Taiwan is great too. If u like the pool, CDS Daniel is usually there. He's a terrific guy who'll put u at ease very quickly. CDV Saverio Freiselli is also a friendly man who roams the village and ensures u'r having a good time.
They're a vibrant, friendly bunch, so just hang out at the little bar with Christy (He's the bartender with the brilliant smile, always ready to give u a high!) and u'll enjoy yourself tremendously!

I think John-Chicago went there by himself. Maybe you should PM him.

I am sure you'll have a great time no matter what. The GO team is a great bunch this season and they'll make sure you have fun. My friends Rika(spa, not GO), Alin(reception), Rati(nurse), and Joan(nurse) are there, plus many other nice people. The village itself is a little secluded, but it is really cool. It is in the guinness book of world records for the longest building on stilts(you'll see what I mean when you go to your room when you get there). There are a couple towns nearby(Kemanan and Kuantan, and if you want and adventure you could rent a car and drive to Kuala Lumpur...but its about a 5 or 6 hour drive). I am sure you'll find things to do. I heard the nightclub will be open by then....it's been renovated and I hope it's good! :)

I just come back, I stayed in Cherating from 21 May 2005 to 28 May 2005. It was full house for the first 3 days because it was Malaysian public holiday, still very fun because the GO team is great.

I am now very busy to update my website. I will put all my photos there within five days.

Heya, ive just come back from Cherating and had the coolest week of my life. The GO's will be great look out for: Adrian (circus), Rhys (circus), Paul (circus), Reef (Teens club), Tam Tam (Archery), this other circus guy with blonde hair, 4got his name, and Kerry (Reception). Lots of the Aussie people will be leaving soon but the place will be packed of asians getting drunk daily.
If you going there soon tell those GO's Matt says hi and if you meet a girl tara tell her i also say hi.
