Until now ...
It doesn't matter what team you were on, we all had the same job. My name is V.J. "Padre" Mochel and I wrote about my experiences as a scuba G.O at Turkoise. I was there from the summer of 1999 until the winter of 2000. In these pages are the memories of what was the best and worst job I ever had. Let me share them with you and no doubt you'll find a flood of your own memories coming back. We may have worked on different sides of the earth but the stories are still the same. Written in English (sorry, the only language I feel comfortable writing in) and available exclusively at Lulu.com

Saving the best for last. Thanks once more for sharing with us. It certainly puts the GO life into perspective and makes me appreciate my GO friends even more.. Azzu
O how I'd wished you had done at least 15 seasons. So much more to write about, so much more for me to read. Nevertheless, a lot of thanks from "a huge fan".. Karolyn
Bravo!!!!!! Fantastic I now have to go back to chapter 1 and start reading again so much in one year wow! Loved the book and thanks for bringing back some old memories.. Nightshade
A heartfelt thanks to this wonderful thing you have done!! Thanks for sharing your self with us and giving us all a kaleidoscope to look through. Reading your stories were like looking through an old photo album sometimes and was also like this book you "Just Couldn't Put Down" - you laugh and cry and cheer for the people in there because you feel that you ARE there with them.. Minouche
Congratulations, you can write. This is a big deal since most people cannot. It is as crystal clear as the waters off Provo that you found some time (between SCUBA, romancing the guests and fixing the equipment) to jot down some keen observations. You have a good ear because everything you wrote rings true (even to us non-GOs). For what it's worth, I read 2-3 books a month, I run a Book Club, and have a long family history of writers, reporters and editors. Keep up the good work.. Malone
I can't get enough of this story !!!! I love it !!!! Just love it !!!!!! Good job.... It's like re-living some things... ;-).. MJ
Once again you've kept me in fits of laughter. You have done it again!! Great slice of history there. Nitty and gritty. You continue to keep me well entertained.. Moneypenny
I have just discovered the story and have spent the better part of a week getting up to speed on ch 1 through 8. At least now I can take a breather and get back to my real life and get some work done! One of the hazards of being self-employed and working from home is getting distracted by the likes of Sex, Surf and Sunburn. Now I can go back to paying attention to my job, my family, my husband and, oh yeah, packing for our trip to Turks in three weeks time! I have a whole new perspective on things and I think our trip will be enhanced by our behind the scenes peak. Write on, brother!.. Abb
You're the man Padre!!!!! Can't you quit your day job and get the next book out for all of your fans....and possibly put the rest of your life on paper too, cause that would surely be entertaining as well!!!.. Chabella
I finally got to read the last chapter, it was wonderful. Do we all get invited to the publishing and press parties for it?.. Jaycee
